The shearing machine mainly achieves the shearing work of metal sheets through the following methods. The electric motor drives the flywheel shaft through a belt, and then drives the eccentric shaft through a clutch and gear reduction system. Then, it drives the upper tool holder through a connecting rod to perform up and down reciprocating motion for shearing work. The cam on the left end of the eccentric wheel drives the plunger of the pressure tank, which sends the pressure back to the pressure foot and compresses the sheet metal before cutting. During the return journey, the pressure foot is returned by the spring force.

The upper blade of the shearing machine is fixed on the knife holder, and the lower blade is fixed on the workbench. There are support balls installed on the workbench to prevent scratches when the sheet metal slides on it. The rear blocking device is used for sheet metal positioning, and the position is adjusted by a motor. The pressing cylinder is used to press the sheet metal tightly to prevent it from moving during shearing. Guardrails serve as safety devices to prevent work-related accidents. The return journey usually relies on nitrogen gas, which is fast and has minimal impact.

The lower cutting edge of a mechanical shearing machine is generally fixed on the lower crossbeam of the frame, and the upper blade holder is driven by two main hydraulic cylinders to swing up and down around an eccentric axis at the rear of the frame. The downward swing of the servo CNC shearing machine is the shearing action, and the upward swing is the lifting action.

The shearing machine should be able to ensure the straightness and parallelism requirements of the cutting surface of the sheared sheet metal, and minimize the distortion of the sheet metal as much as possible to obtain high-quality workpieces. For example, when performing a cutting operation, the gap between the blades is first adjusted according to the thickness of the material being cut, ensuring that the cutting force can be applied to the board just right without causing excessive damage or incomplete cutting. Then, adjust the template or fixture according to the width of the material being cut to ensure that the position of the board is stable during the cutting process. Before operating the shearing machine, perform 1-3 empty strokes to ensure normal operation before carrying out the shearing work.
